Tremblay, Chablis 1er Cru Cote de Lechet 2022

Chablis has set the rhythm of life for the Tremblay family for the past 5 generations. Guardians of tradition and with a great love for wine, husband-wife duo Gerard & Helene Tremblay farm 34ha of vineyard and produce wines from 4 different AOC Chablis appellations. Their wines are made with great care, a lot of love and a real attention for detail. Chablis 1er Cru Cote de Lechet 2022 is taken from some of the domain's best vineyards where the vines are on average 30 years old and sitting on prime Kimmeridgian soil. The grapes were harvested and aged in a mix of 80% stainless steel and 20% oak for 12 months prior to release. An expressive nose of green apple, pear, citrus and melon moves to a bright palate with a linear, limestone acidity and enveloping medium-bodied texture. A wine which will only get better over the next 5-10 years.
